The Medical Imaging service at Port Kembla District Hospital provides:

• X-rays (also known as plain radiography)
• Bone Mineral Density Scan (BMD or DEXA Scan)

All other Medical Imaging services are available at Shellharbour Hospital or Wollongong Hospital.

How can I access these services?

These services require a referral from a Medical Practitioner, ISLHD Clinic or an accredited Allied Health professional.

What should I bring?

Your referral letter and Medicare Card.
