A team of Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) clinicians are calling for participants to take part in a research study on the longer term health impacts of COVID-19.
Principal Investigator and ISLHD Specialist Physician in Trauma & Rehabilitation Medicine, Dr Stuart Tan said the study will look at how the disease affects the human body and provide a better understanding of the needs of those who have had COVID-19.
The research team is calling for people who have tested positive for COVID-19 to participate. The study is being carried out in the Illawarra Shoalhaven, however it is open to people living anywhere in Australia.
