Live Life Well @ School

Live Life Well @ School encourages students to be more active and develop healthier eating habits. We work directly with primary schools to improve fundamental movement skills and physical activity, increase knowledge about healthy food options and healthy fundraising.

We encourage schools and early childhood education and care services to include Healthy Grabs to communicate key messages with families.

The Illawarra & Shoalhaven Health & PE Network is held throughout the year and provides FREE professional development for primary school teachers. A variety of workshops are offered such as Maths ‘N’ Movement, Games, Physically Active Classrooms, and School Gardens. Each workshop is BOSTES change to NESA accredited.

Join in the discussion on the Health & PE Network Closed Facebook Group or subscribe to the Health Info Newsletter (Primary).

For more information, to join the Health & PE Network or to find out when the next Health & PE Network meeting will be held, contact the Health Promotion Service.
