Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre - Telemedicine Specialist Appointments
Overview
The Telemedicine Clinic at Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre is available for particular patients to intermittently meet with their specialist via video, preventing the need to travel to the Illawarra Cancer Care Centre.
Appointments are scheduled and the patient will speak with their specialist over video about their diagnosis and treatment plan. Like a face to face appointment, there is opportunity for patients to discuss their concerns or ask questions.
Referrals and appointments
Telemedicine consults are by appointment, and a referral is required from a GP or specialist.

Getting There
The Centre is located adjacent to the Shoalhaven Hospital, and the clinic space where patients attend appointments with their Medical Oncologist is on the ground floor.
Access and Parking
The Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre has a dedicated carpark for patient use for treatment and specialist appointments. Located on the Shoalhaven Hospital campus, visitors to the Cancer Centre also have access to hospital parking.
Advice for disabled to get to the service
The Shoalhaven Cancer Centre houses a lift which enables access to the disabled. All entry points to the Cancer Centre are disabled friendly.
