The Allied Health workforce forms a critical component of the Illawarra Local health District (ISLHD) workforce. Allied health provide clinical care in inpatient (acute and sub-acute), outpatient and community settings. There are opportunities to work in paediatric and adult services. Our role varies across settings, ranging from needs assessment, diagnostics, advocacy and support, and direct therapeutic intervention.
