The Allied Health workforce forms a critical component of the Illawarra Local health District (ISLHD) workforce. We are engaged, skilled and motivated allied health professionals with a vision of excellent services, quality partnerships and healthy communities. Within ISLHD, the professional groups are:

Allied health provide clinical care in inpatient (acute and sub-acute), outpatient and community settings. There are opportunities to work in paediatric and adult services. Our role varies across settings, ranging from needs assessment, diagnostics, advocacy and support, and direct therapeutic intervention.
