What the service is

Centre-based, outpatient rehabilitation based at Port Kembla Hospital

What we do

The service provides Outpatient Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to clients referred from the community and post-discharge from hospital. Up to but not limited to 8 week treatment programs are offered. This may include; one to one upper limb therapy, cognitive retraining, improving independence and functional abilities following admission to hospital/recent illness.

Comprehensive assessment and management of condition. 

How to access this service

Referral from treating health professional, GP or specialist is required to access service

Any supporting medical reports to assist with our assessments

How to get there, including by public transport

The outpatient clinic is located within the grounds of Port Kembla Hospital. Access to the facility can be gained off Cowper St or Fairfax Avenue 
A hospital transport service may be available to access an outpatient appointment. Please enquire at time of contact.
