Antenatal Clinics - Nowra
Antenatal services are offered from the newly commissioned clinic on Osborne Street. The family-centred space offers antenatal appointments, routine midwifery and obstetric outpatient clinics.
What we do
We provide Antenatal care for all women of the Shoalhaven area.
When to access this service
Women should book into the service between 12 and 15 weeks pregnant. Please phone the clinic to make an appointment. Women will need a referral to Dr John/Dr Lockhart in case they require Obstetric care during the pregnancy.
What to expect
The clinic provides both Midwives clinics and Doctors clinics depending on risk.
Who should access this service
All pregnant women from the Shoalhaven area.
How to access this service (referrals or no referral necessary)
Please phone the Clinic directly to make an appointment 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
What to bring
All pathology and ultrasound reports and referral from GP as well as your Antenatal [yellow card] if you already have one.
Parking and Public Transport
Driving is the best option as there is no direct public transport to the clinic. There is a train service to Bomaderry which is a 30 min walk to the clinic, there are buses from the Bomaderry station and there are buses from other destinations in the Shoalhaven though they run infrequently.
There is street parking and public car parks close.
Advice for disabled in getting to the service
There are ramps at the back entrance to the building for wheel chair access.
