Hospital Auxiliary and Volunteers
Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary has a large volunteer group who provide a trolley service with essential items and snacks to patients at the hospital. They raise a significant amount of funds for equipment every year.

Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary
Operational since: 1986
Current members: 65
Main purpose: To purchase equipment for the Hospital
Key activities: Daily trolley service, book/cake stalls, regular market days, sausage sizzles
Contributions: Purchased more than $57,000 worth of equipment in the last year, including a neonate infant warming system, Wireless Spot Vital Signs Monitors, care chairs and two ECG machines
Meetings: 1:00pm - 4th Tuesday of each month at the Senior’s Hall, Warilla

Interesting fact: The Auxiliary celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2016 – with four of the founding members still members today
