Overview

What the service is

The Dietetics service is responsible for a patients’ nutritional care including: malnutrition assessment, provision of nutritional supplements, weight reviews, dietary intake review and monitoring.

What we do

The dietitian will complete a nutrition assessment and provide nutrition education for your condition and/or nutritional status.

What to expect

The dietitian will ask you some questions about your history, take some measurements, assess your diet and provide appropriate dietary education and counselling for your condition.

How to access this service (referrals or no referral necessary)

Contact the service. Referrals are not necessary but you must fit the criteria regarding aged care and rehabilitation populations. 

What to bring

You don’t need to bring anything to this appointment. You may like to bring any recent blood test results, a record of what you eat or a medication list, although these are not essential.
