The Kidney Outpatient Clinic - Shoalhaven is available for assessing patients prior to their appointment with the kidney doctor. The clinic nurses provide advice, guidance and support to clinic patients, their families and carers.

Staff Specialist - Nephrologist
Dr Jenny Chen is a consultant nephrologist (kidney doctor) covering Wollongong Hospital, Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital (Nowra), and Milton Ulladulla Hospital. She is also a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Wollongong. Dr Chen looks after patients with chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplant, hypertension, and kidney stones. She has special interests in peritoneal dialysis (PD) and kidney supportive care. She is an invited speaker at several national education programs for nephrology trainee doctors, and she is the current chair of the Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) PD Working Group.
