Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre - Radiation Oncology Specialist Appointments

Overview

The Radiation Oncology service at the Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre has radiation oncology specialist appointments available. Patients can discuss with their specialist their diagnosis, results, treatment plan and support services. They are able to discuss their concerns and ask questions. 

The Specialist is supported by a Clinic Nurse and Clinic Administrative staff, and Clinical Nurse Consultants may also attend the appointment to support the patient.

Referrals and appointments

Consultations are by appointment, and a referral is required from a GP or specialist.

Getting There

The Centre is located adjacent to the Shoalhaven Hospital, and the clinic space where patients attend appointments with their Rafiation Oncologist is on the ground floor.

Access and Parking

The Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre has a dedicated carpark for patient use for treatment and specialist appointments. Located on the Shoalhaven Hospital campus, visitors to the Cancer Centre also have access to hospital parking.

Advice for disabled to get to the service

The Shoalhaven Cancer Centre houses a lift which enables access to the disabled. All entry points to the Cancer Centre are disabled friendly.
