What the service is

Outpatient dietitian clinic for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis).

What we do

The dietitian will complete a nutrition assessment and provide nutrition education for your condition.

What to expect

The dietitian will ask you some questions about your history, take some measurements, assess your diet and provide appropriate dietary counselling for your condition.

Who should to access this service

You are eligible to access this service if you have diagnosed Inflammatory Bowel Disease and are under the care of an ISLHD Gastroenterologist.

How to access this service

You must be under the care of an ISLHD Gastroenterologist and be referred by your gastroenterologist, IBD nurse or dietitian.

What to bring

You don’t need to bring anything to this appointment. You may like to bring any recent blood test results, a record of what you eat or a medication list, although these are not essential.
