Dr. Sayeda Naher

FRACP, MMED, MBBS Staff Specialist – Medical Oncologist

Dr Sayeda Naher is a staff specialist in Medical Oncology and General Medicine at Wollongong Hospital.  She also works at Shoalhaven cancer care centre. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor or Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh before relocating to Australia, where she was awarded Fellowship (FRACP) from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.  She completed her fellowship training through Sydney West and South-West Health network at various hospitals in Sydney including Liverpool, Blacktown, Bankstown and Campbelltown Hospitals.  Dr Naher completed her Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney. 

With a keen interest in research, Dr Naher is currently enrolled in a PhD program with the University of Sydney.  Dr Naher has published numerous research articles related to breast cancer and Genito-urinary cancer. She has spent several years actively involved in the teaching of junior medical students as a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney, University of New South Wales and most recently, the University of Sydney.
