Department of Anaesthetics

Overview

The ISLHD Department of Anaesthesia is a team of dedicated specialists who care for patients at all stages of their surgery journeys. Our specialist Anaesthetists are involved in the preoperative stages - assessing and planning patients' care as part of the medical team. They then closely monitor patients' health and wellbeing throughout their procedures, and help to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.

The full range of anaesthesia procedures are available at ISLHD, including General, Local, Regional, Procedural sedation, Conscious sedation, and Analgesia.
