Hospital In The Home

Hospital In The Home (HITH) is located within the Ambulatory Care Centre at Wollongong Hospital. This service provides acute and sub-acute care to adults as a substitution for hospital care. Without a HITH service these patients would require hospitalisation.

All referrals to the service must be made by a Medical Practitioner or accredited Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
