Diagnostic and Assessment Service

Who we are    

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Diagnostic and Assessment Service is an assessment only service. The service offers assessment when a Paediatrician has identified significant concerns about multiple Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ongoing treatment and therapy is not provided by this service. 

What we do  

Assess children prior to school entry for suspected concerns about Global Development Delay / Intellectual Disability or Suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder. 

How to get help

Referrals for this service can be made by Paediatrician only. Children must reside within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.
