The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) Division of Renal caters for the needs of adult patients with kidney disease across the entire District - between Coledale Hospital and Milton Ulladulla Hospital. The Division employs a wide range of health professionals, including specialist physicians, specialist nursing staff, and Allied Health staff.
The Division of Renal aims to provide comprehensive medical care to patients with kidney disease, which includes the facilitation of outpatient clinics, acute and satellite haemodialysis units, peritoneal dialysis and home dialysis patient training, as well as a designated kidney ward (C8 East) at Wollongong Hospital.
