New Street
Overview
Who we are
We are a team of therapists who work with and support young people aged 10 to 17 who have sexually harmed another person. We also work with the young person’s family and carers.
Our services are free. We welcome people of all cultures, sexualities and abilities.
The New Street team is committed to having a respectful, supportive and culturally safe place where counselling can occur.
We believe:
- all young people can develop healthy and respectful ways of being
- the safety and protection of all children and young people as a priority
- in young people’s positive self-worth
- in each family’s uniqueness and strengths
- the impact that social injustice and disadvantage has had on people’s lives
