About the artwork on this page

The artwork in the web banner was designed by client and artist Holly Sanders.

It represents the connections and support networks between Binji and Boori and our mothers, children and families - supporting with and through Aboriginal cultural knowledge.

The figures surrounding the central mother and child represent Binji and Boori health services and individuals supporting and working in partnership with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities.

The journey lines towards the center meeting place represents both Shoalhaven and IIllawarra Aboriginal women, Booris and families receiving culturally safe and respectful care.

The concentric circles in the background represent the diversity, strength and resilience of our aboriginal communities, families and cultures.
