    With challenging weather and extreme fire danger predicted for Saturday 4 January, Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is reminding people to take precautions and look out for family, friends and neighbours. ISLHD Chief Executive Margot Mains said mental health and counselling services are available if required.

    Statement on Temporary Birthing Unit at Wollongong Hospital

    Wollongong Hospital Maternity and Women’s Health Service Lead Barbara Atkins has provided an update about the temporary birthing unit at Wollongong Hospital.  "The NSW Government’s $2.2 million redevelopment of Wollongong Hospital’s Birthing Unit, announced in July 2019, will deliver a more modern and welcoming birthing space.
