The shared use paths around Lake Illawarra and Shellharbour beaches offer spectacular scenery and ample areas for you to stop, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Start your trip at The Esplanade Oak Flats and make your way along Reddall Parade all the way around to Reddall Reserve, Warilla Beach and further! Car parking, picnic tables and playgrounds are abundant along the way. It's accessible for those with wheelchairs, walking with prams, and cyclists too. Reddall Reserve provides a great family recreational area where children can paddle, swim and play. There are playgrounds, picnic shelters, toilet facilities and a kiosk. Windang Island is a great place to explore. Other areas around Lake Illawarra that are worth visiting include Boonerah Point Reserve, Skiway Park and Koona Bay Reserve.
